Shipping Policy for Saltwater Soapery

Thank you for choosing Saltwater Soapery! We are delighted to share our handcrafted cold-process soaps with you. Below you will find all the details regarding our shipping process.

1. Processing Time

Since all our soaps are handcrafted, processing time is the time it takes for us to prepare and package your order before it leaves our facility.

  • Standard Orders: Orders typically ship within [2-4] business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays).

  • Custom/Wholesale Orders: Processing times for large or custom orders will be communicated directly upon order confirmation.

  • Note: If we are experiencing a high volume of orders (e.g., during holiday seasons), shipments may be delayed by a few days. We appreciate your patience!

2. Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • Domestic Shipping (U.S.): We primarily use reliable carriers such as USPS and UPS.

    • Standard Shipping: Estimated delivery of [3–7] business days after processing.

    • Expedited Shipping: Available at checkout for faster delivery.

  • International Shipping: Available to select countries.

    • Rates and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout and vary based on destination.

    • Please Note: Delivery estimates do not include potential delays caused by customs processing.

Shipping Confirmation and Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation email containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours of receiving the email.

3. Shipping Destinations

  • We currently ship to all 50 states within the United States.

  • We do not currently offer international shipping.

4. Taxes, Duties, and Customs (International Orders)

Saltwater Soapery is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order.

All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, duties, etc.). By placing an international order, you acknowledge that you are responsible for any fees required by your country’s customs agency.

5. Damages, Lost, or Stolen Packages

Saltwater Soapery is responsible for ensuring your package is properly protected and shipped to the address provided at checkout. However, once the package is handed over to the carrier, risk of loss and title for the items pass to you.

  • Damages: If your order arrives damaged, please contact the shipping carrier immediately to file a claim. Please also save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

  • Lost or Stolen Packages: Saltwater Soapery is not responsible for lost or stolen packages confirmed to be delivered to the address entered for an order. We will, however, assist you in filing a claim with the carrier.

6. Incorrect Shipping Address

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address provided by the customer, the customer is responsible for the new shipping charges to reship the order. Please double-check your shipping information carefully before finalizing your purchase.
